One Piece Episode 395

Storyline

At naval headquarters, Vice Admiral Garp receives word that “Dark King” Silvers Rayleigh is being auctioned off at Grove 1. The latter speculates that Rayleigh must sell himself as a betting debt, since he lost at gambling. Further, he orders that this news not be passed on to anyone, including Sengoku. He wants to settle the matter on his own, after all, the Navy cannot deal with two legends at the same time.

Human Auctioning House on Grove 1: Mister Disko, the host, opens the auction. Disko presents the first slave to be sold: Byron, a musician from the Westblue. Mingling with the audience are mock bidders who are supposed to drive up the price when interested bidders want to buy the slave.

Before Grove 1, Duval hands Sanji a list of human traffickers, giving Sanji an overview of the starting prices. During the conversation Duval points out the special position of the mermaids, which can be seen in the highest starting price. Sanji’s temper breaks out again and he pushes Duval to find Camie. Meanwhile, the other Tobiuo Riders have investigated all the trafficking groups in the 20 Groves, but to no avail. Luffy pushes to arrive and yells for Camie.

Scene Change: The kidnapping team of the “Coffee Monkeys” are enraged that they had so much trouble catching and delivering a giant. They had expected a lot of credit for it, until Camie, a mermaid, was turned in just before the deadline. Usopp and one of the Tobiuo Riders ask them who kidnapped the mermaid. After getting the information, the Tobiuo Riders spread the information among themselves that Camie is on Grove 1. All the Straw Hats head to the auction house with their pilots.

Meanwhile, Zoro, who is on his way to Grove 1 as he suspects the Thousand Sunny is there, is threatened by a group of bounty hunters. With an angry look, he intimidates them, as they have recognized his strength and point him a way to Grove 1.

At the auction house, Mister Disko is currently moderating a ten-pack of people.

The Tobiuo Riders inform Duval that the Human Auctioning House has been going on for half an hour, and Sanji is worried that it may already be too late and Camie has already been sold. However, Duval reassures him that while the auction has already started, Camie would surely be sold last as the main attraction. There is still some time left. Afterwards, Duval proudly declares that he’s headed for Grove 1 in the first place, for which Sanji pays homage, until he sees that most of the other Tobiuo Riders are also already arriving.

Franky, Chopper, Nami, Sanji, Hatchan and Pappag discuss the sense and nonsense of human trafficking with the bouncer in front of the auction house door, until Franky gets the idea to blow away half the auction house. Hatchan stops his Weapons Left because the auction house is also home to World Nobles. Nami then suggests beating them at their own game. She wants to buy Camie back with the treasures they captured on Thriller Bark.

Backstage at the sale, Lacuba, another slave, is given a sedative after he refuses to be sold. Camie thinks about Hatchan.

The Straw Hats, Hatchan, and Pappag enter the auction hall, where the Kid Pirates takes notice of them. Nami estimates the treasure on board to be at least 200 million berries. Hatchan confirms that they could definitely buy Camie with it, but doesn’t know how he’ll ever pay it back. The others assure him that he’s not the only one who’s a friend of Camie. Disko is pricing another slave girl and the group witnesses everyone in the auction hall eagerly bidding.

A leaflet is distributed on Grove 24. Some Supernovae look aghast at the contents of the leaflet. The commander of Whitebeard’s second division – Firefist Ace – is to be executed! X. Drake gets to the heart of the matter: This means war!

Grove 1, Human Auctioning House: Disko praises the beautiful Pascia, a dancer. Sanji is horrified at how they treat a lady. Meanwhile, Luffy, Robin, Usopp, Brook and Zoro are still on their way to Grove 1. At the same time, Camie is taken out of her cell and made ready for auction.
