Storyline
The zombies walk through the Thriller Forest with a disco ball.
Nami, Usopp and Chopper are in Hogback’s laboratory. The latter calls in the samurai zombie Ryuma after Nami says that they know from a newspaper article that Cindry died ten years ago. The samurai asks Nami to show him her panties, to which she of course reacts angrily, but also very surprised since Brook asked her the exact same thing. Also, Ryuma possesses the same laugh as Brook, which is “Yohoho”. Hogback introduces him as a zombie general who hails from the land of Wano Country in the New World, and according to legend, killed a dragon. Samurai Ryuma now slowly walks past Nami, Usopp, and Chopper, who look after him in wonder, thinking he was going to attack them. Usopp finally snaps the other two out of their amazement and they try to flee. But suddenly, out of nowhere, they are attacked and fall to the ground unconscious. Hogback explains that a true sword master is the one who manages to attack his opponents in such a way that they only belatedly realize they’ve been attacked. Ryuma attacked them with his Hanauta Sancho: Yahazu Giri.
Luffy’s squad has arrived at Hogback’s castle in the dining room. Again, the castle zombies are trying to spread terror and capture them. Luffy is impressed by the strange creatures of the Thriller Bark. Immediately, the Straw Hats begin their battle. Robin defeats her opponents with her many arms, Zoro uses nigiri to fight his adversaries. All but Luffy fight in earnest, as the Straw Hat Captain toys with the Carpet Bear, but is eventually able to defeat him with a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka.
Hogback’s Castle, Lab: Nami, Usopp and Chopper are put in a coffin. Two zombie unicorns are supposed to deliver them to Moria. Meanwhile, the zombies arrive at the castle with their disco ball.
Dining Room: Oinkchuck, who hasn’t been touched, tells them that Nami, Chopper, and Usopp are sleeping in their bedrooms, which the gang won’t buy, but they notice that Sanji has disappeared. The defeated castle zombies are acting extremely suspicious. Enraged, Luffy tells the zombies that he will show them hell if they harm his friends. The Straw Hats want to take Oinkchuck along as a tour guide.
In front of the castle: The zombies sing and dance with a disco ball.
Absalom heads to the morgue and wakes up the rest of the zombie generals.
