One Piece Episode 292

Storyline

This episode is the sixth TV special.

The TV Special 6 has nothing to do with the story of One Piece. Also, it is not set in the world of One Piece, but in an ancient Japan. In the same place as in the following TV Specials:

• TV Special 9
• TV Special 10

As in the previously mentioned specials, you will also meet many familiar characters from the world of One Piece in this special, but with different names or only slightly changed names. The fighting techniques and devil powers of the individual characters remain the same.

Luffy is a detective in a village there, Usopp his helper. Nami and Sanji run a restaurant where Sanji cooks for the guests and Nami serves the food to the guests. Chopper is known as a doctor in the village. Vivi rules as Princess Grand Jipangu along with her father King Kobra. Nico Robin seems to belong to Vivi and also looks out for her, but she herself is also something of a secret informant for our detective, though he himself never knows where he gets the information. Zoro wanders around as a monk.

It’s already New Year’s Day. In a small village all inhabitants seem to get along peacefully, but there is also a small criminal organization – the Clown Family, which has been trying to spread chaos in the village since TV Special 4. Their leader is Buggy the clown. Also, sometimes Hatchan and Gedatsu come to the village, who support the Clown Family and are already part of this family, so to speak.

For New Year’s Day, a big feast is to be held at the castle, for which Nami, Sanji and Chopper deliver the rice cakes to be thrown from the castle tower. Hidden in one of these rice cakes is a valuable gem, said to be worth about 10 million Rio-Berry.
Luffy and Usopp are watching the square in front of the castle, as they are expecting hoodlums. One of them is Buggy with his crew. However, since he’s too lazy to search, he wants to rob the rice cake truck, however, he doesn’t stand a chance against the three of them. Of course he doesn’t give up immediately. A little while later, Nami, Sanji, Chopper and the rice cake truck are lifted into the air by a flying machine piloted by Hatchan and Gedatsu. Luffy comes to their aid and shortly after, the cart is transported to the castle by Igaram, Chaka and Pell. Nami, Sanji and Chopper decide to join the party as well.
Buggy is still pursuing the rice cakes and in the process comes to the castle, where he encounters Vivi, whom he takes hostage. In return, he demands the cart with the rice cakes. But King Cobra doesn’t want to give him the gem just like that, Buggy is supposed to look for it in the castle square like everyone else. Buggy, however, gets the idea to kill the king and take his place. However, Buggy’s cannon ends up shooting the rice cakes, and he himself is flung away by Luffy.
The rice cake with the gem ends up arriving at Zoro’s house. But since you can’t eat the stone, he just throws it away.
