Storyline
Jaya: The first confrontation has been a different matter for Luffy. Bellamy laughs, jumps up, causing the roof to come off, and pushes off another building with the Super Snipe. Luffy dodges, pushing off from the falling roof as well. He falls to the ground unimpeded, but gets right back up. Bellamy uses his Mega Snipe, which he also used to finish off Roshio, the executioner. As he does so, he leaps from wall to wall at high speed, closing in on his opponent. As he does so, he taunts Luffy and Noland about their dreams. They are not pirates, he says. Luffy still stands there untouched, only raising his right arm and clenching his fist. Bellamy comes charging at him head-on. Luffy rams Bellamy into the ground with a punch to the face. The face has a fist print of Luffy’s on the right side. Sarquiss yells at him to get up and do his show. Luffy’s wanted poster flies into his face with the bounty of 100,000,000 berry and he gets scared. Luffy demands back the gold that was stolen from Cricket. Bellamy’s gang flees.
Jaya, Cricket’s hut: The monkey gang is repairing the Going Merry. Nami wants to know from Zoro why he didn’t go with them to get the gold back. When they were beaten up by Bellamy, they didn’t need to fight. He doesn’t fight out of pity.
Jaya, Mocktown: Luffy has the gold and wants to go back to his crew. Sarquiss still doesn’t believe in Luffy’s strength and wants to know where he’s going. As Luffy turns around, Sarquiss falls down and is told they’re going up. He extends his index finger upwards as he does so.
Holy Land of Mary Geoise: The highest authorities of the world government, the Five Elders converse in a huge building. The Red One had sent a messenger to Whitebeard. The two of them together would be a threat to world peace. However, since the Red One does not seek world domination, they let him, the successor to Crocodile is the priority. The balance of the Three Powers must be maintained. Therefore, they have ordered The Seven Warlords of the Seas to Mary Geoise. Lastly, they look at the wanted poster of Luffy, who they won’t just let go. Naval headquarters reports the arrival of the Samurai of the Sea Donquixote Doflamingo and Bartholomew Kuma to Mary Geoise.
In the building, Mozambia tries to strangle Stainless, but says he can no longer control himself. Crane sits at the round table and just watches the action. Vice Admiral Mozambia realizes that Flamingo is behind this and orders him to stop. But Flamingo continues to play with his devilish powers. He gets the Vice Admiral to draw his sword and attack his colleague with it. Only when Grand Admiral Sengoku enters the room and tells him to stop does Flamingo stop his actions. Donquixote Doflamingo and Bartholomew Kuma, two of The Seven Warlords of the Seas, are introduced.
Sengoku wants to start the meeting and adds that he is surprised because more of the samurai came than he had expected. Flamingo replies that he didn’t want to come either, but business on the island is too good. Shortly afterwards, Hawkeye also makes a surprise appearance. He says he is only here as a spectator because he wants to learn about the pirates who hunted down Crocodile.
Laffitte shows up and wants to join the conversation. Sengoku is surprised to see him come in. Crane recognizes Laffitte and informs the others that he was a sheriff in the Westblue, but was suspended for his brutality. Laffitte just says that this is the past and he is here to propose someone to be Samurai of the Seas.
On Whitebeard’s ship is Rockstar, who hands Whitebeard a letter from Shanks, but Whitebeard tears it up without reading it. Rockstar panics and shouts that this letter is very important. Whitebeard replies that it must be about Ace and Blackbeard and that Shanks should show up himself if he has anything to say.
On a winter island, Shanks talks to Rockstar through a Den-den Mushi. Shanks wants him to come back to him. Shanks’ pirate gang now wants to pay Whitebeard a visit. The crew members are worried that the world government will intervene. Shanks just asks if they’re going to wet their pants now. Everyone is now excited to get into the fight.
On Mary Geoise, Laffitte explains that they are the Blackbeard Gang and those present should remember that name. In Mocktown, everyone is astonished that Bellamy has been defeated. Bigknife Sarquiss is very angry about this and complains that he has been bumped into by someone. This was Blackbeard, who also immediately rams Sarquiss into the ground. Blackbeard wants to catch Luffy so he can make a name for himself with the world government.
