Storyline
Chopper makes the hot desert climate hard to create. He is therefore pulled through the desert on a stretcher by Zoro. Luffy has eaten from the crazy cacti again, goes completely crazy and runs aimlessly through the desert. Nami once again reminds Zoro of the debt he owes her and orders him to bring Luffy back. When Luffy regains consciousness, Luffy, Zoro and Chopper set off to follow the others. In the process, they sink into the sand and end up in an underground ruin with strange writing. They manage to get back to the surface with Luffy’s help. Meanwhile, the others have ridden on. When the wind shifts, Chopper suddenly gets Nami’s perfume in his nose and the friends find each other again.
Mistake in the Anime
When Luffy had eaten from the desert cacti and goes completely nuts, he has the delusion that Zoro is Crocodile! But this can’t be true, because the Straw Hat Pirates has never seen Crocodile before, so Luffy can’t know what the crocodile looks like at that point.
