From the ship decks of the world – The 500,000,000 Man, Part 12 “Balsimore”
Storyline
Luffy and the others are shocked at the news that Kozuki Oden has gone to sea with Gold Roger. As Zoro suspects, this is also the reason Momonosuke and his companions are so sought after by Caesar Clown, Donquixote Doflamingo, and Kaidou, though Kinemon must add that unlike their former master, they have no knowledge of the True Story. Instead, their goal is to fulfill the last wish of Oden, who left them with the words to open the borders of Wano Country at any cost! That’s why they want to kill the Shogun of the country and also fight Kaidou’s men, but at the moment they don’t have any chance against this superior force. That’s why they once started their journey to find allies, first asking their friends from Zou for help. Of course, they are now ready to fight, but Kinemon sees another chance after the events of the last days: On his knees, he asks the alliance between Luffy and Trafalgar Law for their help as well, since their strength is awe-inspiring. To the dismay of his crewmates, however, Luffy promptly refuses this request. At the same time, he yells at Momonosuke about how he could be so idle as the leader of such strong men, causing the boy to cry. After briefly recalling the former raid of his home, he reveals loudly and sobbing that he wants to destroy Kaidou, the murderer of his father and also his mother, at any cost. He wants to become strong so that he can protect his companions, but he is still small and therefore helpless. At this moment, he also falls to his knees and implores Luffy to stand by him as he crouches down to the prince. After these honest words he wants to join forces with the Samurai and defeat Kaidou for them. Together, the parties therefore form the “Ninja-Pirate-Mink Alliance”! However, the Straw Hat Captain has one condition: before they leave for Wano Country, he wants to travel to Big Mom together with “Pekomamushi”, as he mistakenly titles Pekoms, to get Sanji back while everyone else waits for Zou. At this, Inuarashi visibly wonders about Luffy’s mispronunciation of Pekom’s name.
Meanwhile, at the base of the tree, while everyone is still rejoicing that their masters have reunited and telling stories of the past, a fleet sails the waters off Zunesha. The ships are housing Jack’s men, who has indeed returned to finish his quest. When one of his subordinates expresses confidence that he will win for good this time, provided they simply storm the city, Jack denies this plan. He will simply kill the giant elephant!!!!
