Storyline
Luffy’s gum-gum-culverin has been hard on Donquixote Doflamingo. Cavendish and Trafalgar Law are also watching from a distance, the latter fearing that Luffy is using too much of his haki. Jesus Burgess, on the other hand, is wondering if he should join or wait, which makes the koala watching him wonder. Likewise, Violet has also noticed that there is only one fight left, which she reports via Den-den Mushi to her father who has rushed ahead.
Meanwhile, at Franky’s location, it turns out that the Smile factory cannot be destroyed by the birdcage, but only moved, as its walls are made of sea stone. That’s when Zoro and Kinemon join in: together, the three of them will try to stop the strings to stall for time.
Luffy, on the other hand, realizes that he can’t keep Gear 4 up for much longer. That’s why he goes for a Gomu Gomu no Double Culverin, which Doflamingo counters with his attack “Off White”. The fact that this causes threads to emerge from the ground confuses the rubber boy, however Flamingo explains this to his opponent with the “awakening” of his devil power. Awakened devil powers allow users to gain completely new abilities, as they can then use their powers to influence objects and their entire environment.
Meanwhile, complete chaos breaks out in the city. The residents gradually give up and fall into despair, when suddenly someone speaks to them through the local loudspeakers. It is King Riku Doldo III, who has to reveal to his people that all the terrible things that are happening are not a dream, but fact. However, Dress Rosa has been trapped in a cage for ten years; Donquixote Doflamingo’s cage, who ignorantly manipulated the citizens like puppets. However, Riku is sure that all of this will end soon, as the Donquixote family, which was thought to be invincible, has fallen with the help of a few brave warriors. Flamingo himself is the only enemy left to be defeated, he says, and that is what the pirate Straw Hat Luffy is currently fighting for. The decision will be made in the next few minutes, which is why King Riku has only one request to his people: Through tears, he urges them to keep running and survive, even if they are out of breath or their legs are broken! They should run to buy Luffy a few minutes to keep hope alive! Spurred on by their king’s words, the villagers immediately continue running towards the city center with all their remaining strength!
Donquixote tries to prevent this by launching his “Billow White” attack, which turns entire buildings into strings. Luffy, however, jumps in and pierces the strings with his head. He then gives his opponent a massive Gomu Gomu no Leo Bazooka, which even overcomes his Haki and sends him crashing into the King’s Plateau!!!!
