Color Spread: Luffy, Zoro and Law with their allies from the Corrida Colosseum.
Storyline
With Pica stopped, the former participants in the Corrida Colosseum tournament are now free to rush the palace. Dellinger, Machvise, Lao G, Baby 5 and Gladius watch their men’s futility from the second of four levels in the new palace.
Meanwhile, in the city, Kyros is also fighting his way forward.
Nico Robin, Usopp, Bartolomeo, Rebecca, the Dwarves, and Tank Lepanto and Hack, on the other hand, have finally reached King Riku Doldo III and Violet on the remains of the old palace, the latter having just found the key to Trafalgar Law’s handcuffs. This would now have to be brought to Luffy, to which Rebecca, Bartolomeo, as well as Leo and Kabu volunteer. Riku, however, doesn’t understand why his people trust pirates, to which Viola replies that the navy and world government can’t be trusted for a long time. The peace in Dress Rosa is just a sham, she says, and those in charge are resting on their comforts. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, on the other hand, are the only ones who let action speak and risk everything in the process. The dwarves also emphasize at this point that they absolutely want to trust their new allies, pointing to Usopp and his selfless deeds for the good of the kingdom. As the group makes their way across the rooftops, the remaining dwarves are ordered to head to the Smile factory to free their nakama.
That’s where Franky is at the moment, about to blast open the gates with the help of his Radical Beam. However, Señor Pink, who has followed the cyborg to finish his fight, prevents him from doing so.
Meanwhile at the palace: The angry tournament participants have reached the foot of the complex and climb the first level as quickly as possible. Luffy has already arrived there, fighting his way out with a gum-gum gatling. Faced with this, the Donquixote Pirates can’t understand why the navy under Fujitora and Bastille doesn’t come to their aid.
However, the latter cannot leave their position as Sabo has stood in their way and will not let anyone pass. When Issho asks if it’s the revolutionaries’ job to support pirates, Sabo replies that it’s more like a brother’s!
