Caribou’s Kehihihi in the New World, Part 22: “Arms Up – Revolutionary Commander Gaburu Has Returned!”
Caribou is mistaken by the revolutionaries for Gaburu, whom he looks a lot like.
Storyline
After opening the hole in the floor, the old man gropes his way towards the counter with his walking stick and pays for the damage he has done, but the bartender seems to recognize him. When Luffy goes to ask him who he is, he replies that it would be better for both of them if this remained a secret. Zoro and Sanji suspect that he possesses a devil’s power.
At the restaurant, trouble ensues: the other patrons discover that their valuables have been stolen, and Zoro realizes that his shuusui has been stolen as well, much to Kinemon’s displeasure: the shuusui is a treasure from Wano Country, and he wanted to duel Zoro for it, which he would immediately settle.
Meanwhile, a drummer puppet tells them that the fairies have stolen their things and that they have been the protectors of the island since the beginning of time and that we should accept this.
Zoro happens to spy the thief making off with his shuusui and a bag full of stolen goods and rushes after him, followed by Sanji, who wants to prevent Zoro from getting hopelessly lost again. Kinemon and Luffy also follow, but the latter is held by Franky.
Franky and Luffy have confronted a member of Doflamingo’s pirate gang and try to get information about the Smile production out of him, but he can only tell them about a tournament taking place today at the Corrida Colosseum, to which Flamingo has announced a special prize.
At the Coliseum, a toy soldier prevents children from entering, while inside, the prize of the tournament is revealed: the Mera Mera no Mi, the Devil Fruit that once belonged to Ace.
The opponents in the tournament this time are members of the Donquixote family: Señor Pink, Dellinger, Lao G and Machvise as well as the reigning champion Diamante.
The audience reacts delightedly to this, in the audience is also the old man.
In front of the coliseum, Luffy now also learns what the prize of the tournament is.
