Storyline

The Straw Hat Pirates is located at the Bottakuri Bar, a bar at Grove 13 of the Sabaody Archipelago. The owner is Shakuyaku, who knows the Coating artisan Rayleigh. Shakuyaku tells the Straw Hat Pirates to keep quiet so as not to attract the attention of the Navy. For it has not escaped the Navy’s notice that there are some known “rookies” hanging around the archipelago. But the navy has another problem to take care of, so the Straw Hat Pirates really shouldn’t draw attention to themselves. Luffy now says goodbye to Shakuyaku in order to find the coating craftsman Rayleigh with the others.

Meanwhile, the Hound Pets are entertaining themselves at their base, located on Grove 8. They come from the lawless zone of the Sabaody Archipelago. Their boss is Peterman, who now learns that there is a mermaid prowling the archipelago. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the human traffickers, as such a “commodity” is very rare and, more importantly, worth a lot of money at the Human Auctioning House as a result. However, Peterman is told by a bounty hunter that Camie is traveling with Luffy and thus not very easy to kidnap. The Hound Pets decide to reach into their bag of tricks. For the information, the bounty hunter gets 10% of Camie’s selling price. He wanted more, but was beaten up by Peterman, so he accepts the offer.

Luffy and the others now visit Sabaody Park. This is an amusement park on the Sabaody Archipelago. It takes up the entire 30 Groves. Luffy and his friends set out to find Rayleigh here after visiting Shakuyaku. They quickly forget about Rayleigh and really go wild on the attractions first. Camie is very happy because it was always her biggest wish to go to a theme park and is happy to have met Luffy and the others. However, the young mermaid is suddenly kidnapped by Peterman.

The supernovae Urouge is on Grove 24. Saint Charlos rides his slave and passes the street. Urouge, however, wants no trouble with the world aristocrat, though he can hardly bear the sight of it. Charlos demands his respect and kicks a wounded man off a stretcher, saying that saving the man is less important than respecting the world nobles. He then declares the shocked nurse Marie to be his 13th wife and has her taken to the Holy Land. He simply shoots down Marie’s fiancé, who disagrees. Zoro walks around unsuspecting and is recognized by the Supernovae, who all observe the situation.

When Zoro then shows up on the scene, he immediately incurs the wrath of Charlos, who shoots at him without warning. Zoro dodges the shot and is about to attack him when Jewelry Bonney throws himself at Zoro and fakes his death. Charlos assumes he imagined Zoro’s dodge and moves on with his companions towards Grove 1 to the auction house. Zoro then takes the wounded man to the hospital, which Jewelry Bonney doesn’t understand because a pirate doesn’t usually care about others. The Supernovae Capone Gang Bege, Basil Hawkins, Scratchmen Apoo, and Urouge subsequently talk over Zoro, calling him insane to attack a world aristocrat. Furthermore, there would be an immense killer instinct coming from Zoro. Urouge wonders why he is only the first mate of the Straw Hat Pirates. How strong then must the captain be for Zoro to even submit to him. According to Basil Hawkins, however, the shadow of death does not hover over Zoro.

Sanji, Franky and Usopp are on the Thousand Sunny talking about the Bon Charis, which are made of soap bubbles and which they discovered on the archipelago, when suddenly the Den-den Mushi rings. It’s Chopper from Sabaody Park, who informs Sanji that Camie has been kidnapped! The three are shocked.

The Hound Pets take Camie to Grove 1, where the Human Auctioning House is located, to have her auctioned off.

Since there are a lot of human stores on the archipelago and it is almost impossible to find Camie quickly, Sanji calls the Flying Fishriders and thus Handsome. They were human traffickers themselves and should know this business very well.
