Enel’s Great Space Voyage, Part 16: Descent. The space pirates are looking at a very strange looking ship.
Storyline
Luffy’s group encounters Cerberus. While Nami, Chopper and Usopp are still running away from him, Luffy immediately wants to tame Cerberus and gets closer to him. The hellhound has no respect for Luffy (yet) and bites him in the head. Luffy, however, is unimpressed and pats him like a dog, but the next moment he’s already slamming him into the wall.
Cerberus, who now respects Luffy, now serves as Luffy’s transport animal. The Straw Hats now also reach the gates of Thriller Forest. Luffy immediately discovers a zombie tree drinking with a zombie horse, which Luffy is quite surprised by, immediately catches them and asks them to join his pirate gang, which Sanji and Zoro are able to prevent.
Outside Dr. Hogback’s castle: Dr. Hogback is furious at Absalom’s action in the bathroom. However, Absalom, the Invisible Man, has chosen Nami as the woman he wants to marry. Hogback retorts that he cannot do so, as there is a bounty on her head, who want to catch her, as well as the rest of the Straw Hats.
Corridor on the 2nd floor in Dr. Hogback’s castle: Nami, Chopper and Usopp look around the castle and talk about the invisible man who has been bothering Nami. Usopp tries to convince the others that Nami just imagined it.
The trio reach the dining room and meet Hildon again, whom they also immediately want to confront for leaving them alone in the Thriller Graveyard. He distracts and wants to lead them to their rooms, but Nami, Chopper and Usopp want to get off the island. Suddenly, a painting talks Hildon out of playing games. The body of the woman depicted, which is a zombie, jumps out of the painting and grabs Chopper!
Oinkchuck speaks up, introducing himself as the leader of the castle zombies and throwing a sword at Usopp, which he manages to dodge. The rug Nami and Usopp are standing on turns out to be a large carpet bear, another zombie. Usopp now jumps from the zombie bear, which has risen, onto the chandelier and throws a candle from the light fixture at it. The zombie bear catches fire and Usopp throws more candles from the chandelier at the other zombies. Chopper, meanwhile, has broken away from the zombie painting.
The three are fed up and want to escape, but the gate is already locked. The Carpet Bear comes again and attacks Nami, Chopper and Usopp. They manage to dodge and the Straw Hats save themselves in the fireplace. There, a secret door opens behind them and they end up in a secret passage where they are safe from the zombies for now. The three scaredy-cats run on in panic and reach Cindry’s room at the end of the secret passage.
