Storyline

Enies Lobby, Justice Tower: Spandam sits in his office admiring the golden Den-den Mushi he received from Aokiji. As he held his finger over the button, an agent of the World Government suddenly comes rushing into his room. Out of surprise, Spandam almost pressed it because of that.

The agent gives Spandam the Den-den Mushi, saying it was urgent. On the other end of the line, a soldier wants to report to him, but since Spandam’s receiver was off the hook in his office, he couldn’t reach him there. Spandam takes the Den-den Mushi and goes to the prisoners Franky and Robin tied up in the corridor. Still thinking there are only five wounded, he lets them listen in on the report to discourage them. But contrary to expectations, Spandam has to hear that the friends of the Straw Hat Pirates and some of those members have crossed the entire island and are now standing outside the courthouse. There, at the same time, the soldiers are ordered to assemble in the square and stop the 60 pirates.

Meanwhile, Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Chopper are standing in front of the courthouse. Realizing that there is no way to climb onto the roof, they decide to advance into the building and take the stairs there. But suddenly the soldiers attack and a bullet races towards the Straw Hats, but it can be stopped by the frog Yokuzuna. The attacker was one of the 11 jurors, but he disappears shortly after. But Sanji is able to stop him and defeat him with a kick.

While the Franky Family is still trying to figure out how to get this huge stone gate open, Zoro just cut a piece out with his sword, which horrifies the Frankys a bit. Zambai then orders the remaining members to split into three groups. Two tackle the two towers and the third team storms the courthouse.

When Spandam learns of what has happened, he is horrified. Furthermore, he has to hear that the two giants have switched sides and Luffy, who has suddenly disappeared, has already taken out more than two thousand soldiers. It is the first time in the history of Enies Lobby that such an incident has occurred.

Startled and dismayed, Spandam drops the Den-den Mushi and runs to the window in his office. While on the roof of the courthouse he sees Blueno fighting the Straw Hat Captain, Franky can’t help laughing.
