Jero is a member of the Navy in the G5 unit and reports to Smoker and Tashigi.
He was present at the events on Punk Hazard, but mostly in the background. He was one of the soldiers who fought Vergo when he attacked Tashigi. He also refused to believe that they had attacked the real Vergo, thinking that it had just been an impostor. Jero also celebrated the victory over Caesar Clown along with the Straw Hats.
