Gal is a member of the Navy in the G5 unit, reporting to Smoker and Tashigi.
He was present at the events on Punk Hazard, but mostly in the background. He was one of the soldiers who fought Vergo when he attacked Tashigi. He also celebrated the victory over Caesar Clown with the Straw Hats.
