After the The Going Merry falls from the sky (Skypiea), it lands directly in the naval base G8. To avoid capture by the Navy, the entire crew must abandon ship. As a result, the Going Merry is taken by the soldiers to a dock where the treasure on board is unloaded. In order to get back to their ship and treasure, the Straw Hat Pirates must venture into the base. Using various disguises, they manage to get the information they need to find their treasure and escape the base. In the process, they get involved in situations that they must master using their respective skills.
