After Trafalgar Law gives Donquixote Doflamingo an ultimatum, the Straw Hat Pirates waits for the coming morning. During the night, however, there is an incident at sea in which the pirates are attacked by wild animals. Their leader – a pirate named Breed – then kidnaps Caesar from the Thousand Sunny to use him to create his dream kingdom. Luffy, Chopper and Law give chase on the Shark Submerge and end up on his giant ship. There, the animals turn out to be good-natured companions, but they are controlled by Breed’s pet fruit and misused for his purposes.
Luffy, Chopper and Law are also caught by Breed’s devilish powers. While the reindeer is appropriated by Breed as a particularly cute pet, Luffy and Law are locked in a sea stone cage. There, it becomes clear that Breed is not subject to Donquixote Doflamingo, but has motives of his own. With the help of Caesar and Smile fruit, he plans to create a kingdom of animals to be ruled by him. Luffy disagrees and plans to oppose Breed and his powers. In an arena, Breed makes Luffy and Law fight each other, in the outcome of which they apparently fall into the sea…
